About

"What would you do if you were not afraid?"

Born and raised in the German-Luxembourgish-French triangle, multiculturalism has always been an important part of my life. I have also worked and lived in Belgium, England, Spain and most recently the US. For more than a decade I have been a passionate athlete, eventually becoming State Winner in the 100m. Professional sport is a great mentor for life since it teaches you to focus on your goal, learn from your failures and to never give up.

I am not the kind of person that you can characterize by one standalone feature. In high school, I became State Winner of Europe's biggest youth science competition and I am a member of the German Physics Society. However, for my university studies I decided to pursue a degree in Business & Management. My aim is to combine technical knowledge with business expertise, thus bridging the gap between business people and engineers/scientists.

Having an entrepreneurial mindset, I am always on the lookout for new technologies and business opportunities. Information is the most powerful weapon of all; therefore I am an avid reader of blogs, newspapers and journals, always looking for current news and future trends all around the globe. In my view, business ideas do not have to be complicated in order to be highly successful, sticking with Ben Huh: "Human nature has the tendency to admire complexity, but reward simplicity."
